Life Lately: Some outfits, weekend recap, and more!

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! I had a great weekend myself since my mom was in town and we got to hang out all weekend. On Friday night,  we did what we do best - shop! I behaved myself pretty well... I had run out of my holy grail eye cream - Origins Gin Zing - and decided to run into the Origins store at the mall. I had never been there, and we ended up talking to one of the sales associates there and she recommended some great products. I also recently finished my Korres Quercetin & Oak Serum (which I love), but I have been in the mood to try something else (#beautyaddictprobz). She gave me a hefty sample of the Plantscription Serum which I have been LOVING so far. I am also trying out Dior's Capture Total Dream Skin & Clarins Double Serum - I will let you all know which one I go with!

Origins is hands down one of my favorite skincare brands. Not only are their products SUPER effective, but they are also at an affordable price point. I decided to also try out the Drink Up Overnight Mask because my skin has been dryyyyyyyy this winter. NC has gotten some pretty cold days this January and my skin is definitely not used to it. I already used this and LOVE it. I also bought the No Puffery Cooling Roll-On for the eyes - this was literally a dream this morning! It de-puffs and feels so great on the skin in the mornings.

Now, I know what you are thinking... Clinique, Pam? YES! Clinique has recently revamped their eye products. My YouTube friend Jess has been raving about both the All About Shadow Palette and the new chubby sticks for eyes. I am super impressed with the quality of both of them. I love the chubby stick and definitely want to get more! I got the color ample amber and it is a gorgeous base color that can also be worn by its own.

My favorite way to make my veggies - roasting them! I just roast them in the oven at 350 for 40 min and add a little bit of balsamic and then keep them in the oven for another 5-10 min. They turn out DELICIOUS and are a perfect side item to chicken, fish or steak | My parents and I went to dinner at Fig Tree last week and it was so good! Definitely recommend if you are in Charlotte - we finished our great dinner with dessert wine flights = perfection | I have been LOVING the new Shakira & Rihanna song! It is such a fun dance song | On Saturday, my mom, sister, and I headed to Dean & Deluca to have some wine before we went to see Frozen... and OH MY GOD THAT MOVIE IS AMAZING. If you haven't seen it - you have to! It is such a great movie!

Yesterday, my mom and I headed to our lake house which is still under construction and went to our favorite Homegoods! We did not really get that much, but I am thinking of doing an updated apartment tour and I know I want to do a room tour as well! So stay tuned for that! :)

  1. I'm taking a trip to a Homesense ( which I'm sure is owned by the same people as Homegoods) this week and I hope I find some goodies!
