Well it is Monday again! I hope you all had a great weekend. I honestly did barely anything except go shopping on Friday night and go on a 8 mile hike early Saturday morning. I can barely walk I am so extremely sore, but it was such a fun thing to do!
Okay - so if you know me IRL - you KNOW I am NOT a nature person - I have an extreme bee phobia and I just hate bugs in general but I have been wanting to try new things outside of my comfort zone aka do more things than just going out and shopping on the weekends. So Saturday morning, my friends Kenny and Daniela went on a hike with me to a place called crowder's mountain about 30 miles south of Charlotte. The last time I went hiking was in Cali with my sister to Castle Rock and it was literally one of the most beautiful places on earth. Not gonna lie - Cali has much prettier scenery but I enjoyed my hike in NC a lot too. The hike was about 8 miles total back and forth - we definitely got our workout in for the weekend! I want to make this a monthly thing :)
Sunday was spent running some errands, getting a pedicure, starbucks, and then doing A LOT of MBA research!
nordstrom bp tank, f21 shorts, tory burch bag, jcrew phone case
My new favorite - unsweet iced green tea with a spash of passion tea! YUMMY!
I ended my weekend with a glass of merlot and the latest RHONJ episode. I have been a RHONJ fan ever since season one and honestly, I do not even know whose side I am on anymore. I feel like its all so complicated and twisted! I am over this fight - I kind of miss Danielle. and Kim G. At least it was more entertaining and not the same thing over and over again!
Stay tuned for my May/Spring Favorites video later today (being uploaded as we speak... aka type!)

ReplyDeleteOk, I hope this doesn't creep you out, but it's so funny you mentioned hiking Castle Rock. That was my dad's absolute favorite place to hike and when he died last year, we spread some of his ashes there. It's just so funny that you live all the way across the country, but yet we've hiked the same trail! And that hike was damn hard! Either that, or I'm really out of shape. LOL. Anyway, I just thought that was cool. You look so good in pink. I love your top! And I'm going to have to try that green tea with a splash of passion. Sounds good! <3

toni! that is such a small world. I remember reading in your blog about your dad, I am so sorry :( CA is like a paradise and what a beautiful way to honor your dad! I am actually going back to california tomorrow for my sister's graduation from santa clara! I miss it, I lived in SJ for a year! :)
