Shopping For: Vegas Bachelorette Trip

As you all know, I am a shopaholic - but nothing gives me a better excuse like an upcoming amazing trip! Especially my best friend Monica's bachelorette party trip to VEGAS!! We will be there for May 5th weekend (5 more weeks!!) and I literally cannot wait. Now, I am not usually one to dress super sexy, but I think that when in Vegas, its appropriate! There is definitely a difference between sexy and slutty though (although some people do not know this line...) and so I have been on the hunt for some cute dresses for my trip! If you have never been to Vegas, you may not know the importance of the pool parties - they are SO MUCH FUN. I already ordered some very cute VS swimsuits for this joyous occasion!





Now, if I could only LOOK like that in those bikinis, that would be awesome :)

Last time I went to Vegas, I rented a Herve Leger dress and let me tell you something - there is a reason those dresses are 1000 dollars - they work wonders. I think this is the one I am going to rent this time :)
I suggest you get a rent the runway account if you do not have one - such a great site and idea!

Weekend Pictures

Happy Monday everyone!! I am precisely 5.5 weeks away from Vegas - AHH!! I am literally SO freaking excited. I had a great weekend with my cousin and her friends. My favorite part of the weekend was FOR SURE watching the hunger games!!! I thought they did an AMAZING job with the movie - the acting was superb and I really want to watch the movie again! My sister Natalie is home for her spring break from Cali and I get to see her today - which makes me so so so happy! YAY.

My week so far in INSTAGRAM!

Happy Friday to all! Hope you all have a great weekend :) WHO ELSE IS SOOOO EXCITED FOR THE HUNGER GAMES MOVIE??? I am soooo ready for it!! This weekend, my cousin is coming into town and we have some fun things planned including watching the movie! Yayyy!

My friends Erin and Lenny stayed until Tuesday afternoon and on Monday, Lenny really wanted to try some authentic southern BBQ, so we headed over to Mac's Speed Shop - it was actually really good!! I am not a huge BBQ person but I had the roasted chicken and it was so yummy. Also - the drafts were 50% off - can't beat 2 good beers for $4.50!!


Made a good dinner on Tuesday - grilled tilapia, brown rice, steamed veggies

IDK what it is buy my hair has been SO dry lately - I ended up sleeping with my favorite hair mask on - I know I have recommended this mask before on the blog but it really is amazing and definitely gives results - I stock up on Amazon because it is so much cheaper there!

I have also been using the healing oil spray - but just warning - a little goes a LONG way with this product. I slept with both of these products in a high bun and just rinsed them out this morning - my hair feels SO soft and refreshed! yay!

Weekend Pics!

Happy Tuesday to all! So sorry for the lack of posts, I have been so crazy busy with work and had friends visiting in town as well - we had SUCH a great weekend - although there was one bad thing that happened... I lost my damn iPhone on Saturday - so annoying/horrible!! I left it in a cab and realized right away and never got it back so I am so broke now because I am crazy and cannot live without an iPhone and I upgraded to the 4s since it was only an $100 difference from just the regular 4... yea so I basically cant eat or do anything for the rest of the month - awesome!

But apart from that the weekend was great! Erin and Lenny arrived on Friday night and Jimmy was still here so us four went to go get sushi and then out to the bars for a bit! I do not have a lot of pictures to share - thank god I brought my camera - I lost a lot of iphone pics :(

Fit Photo Challenge

Alright ladies - it's crunch time for me. In just 6 weeks I am going to be forced to wear bandage dresses and bikinis in the wonderful las vegas sun. You know what that means? HARDCORE strict diet and workouts - no ifs, ands or BUTS!!!! (I am semi writing this blog post to force myself haha!)

My Other Half: Jimmy

I have got to admit, I am pretty blessed in the friend department. I am so lucky to have so many amazing friends all over the US. Because I went to school in the North, most of my friends from college are in MA, NY, or DC and that is okay because we all make a good effort to see each other often. Originally, Jimmy and I were supposed to write this blog together - hence the crazy name.. haha! It was supposed to document our crazy adventures - yea that did not happen and now its a fashion, beauty and lifestyle blog! LOL. I am sooooo lucky to have Jimmy. A lot of people do not understand our relationship but I talk to him three times every single day - he keeps me sane and level headed and he is always so honest with me. We always joke that we are going to have to end up marrying each other! In college, we were inseparable and living hundreds of miles away from him is so hard especially because we used to spend every day together. I am so happy because he is on his way to visit me right now! I cannot wait to see him! I wanted to share some of the MANY pictures of us ever since we met at a college party in 2007 and he called me a BU Sorority Slut... haha!
