Recent Buys: Online Shopping

Okay - so who isn't addicted to online shopping? These are the goodies I have snatched up this week.

I have been eying these Sam Edelman booties for a while now, so I HAD to get them when Shopbop put them on sale this week
These are the perfect fall day bootie - love the camel color and the texture of the suede and leather. Cannot wait to get them - on sale for $140

I picked up a couple of items from Modcloth!
Love this grey sweater/jacket - so comfy but feminine at the same time

Copied this sweater from my friend Mon! (We seriously have the exact same taste!)
Am planning on wearing this for Thanksgiving along with my Jcrew Pixie pants and the new booties!

Also put in my monthly order over at Stylemint - if you have not heard of it - you have been living under a rock. MK&Ash aka the Olsen twins are the masterminds behind this t-shirt of the month club. It is $29.99/shirt but you do not have to buy a shirt each month. These shirts are AMAZING quality and even though they are t-shirts, they are designed extremely well. When you get your monthly picks in - there are always videos and tips on how to style the shirt - I love this part!
This month, I ordered the "Pacific"

looks like a plain black shirt but observe the back:

Peak of my outfit last night:
[mink pink shirt, bebe leather leggings, juicy necklace]

Hope you all have a great rest of the week and a good weekend :)

Saturday, there were some costume shenanigans, my costume that I ordered seriously was unbreathable from how tight it was it didn't even want to zip up so sonia was EXTREMELY nice and gave me her costume and she bought another! (im telling u - extremely amazing friends)

this was my greek goddess costume

Southern Snow Storms, Charlotte, and Recent Purchases

I hope everyone had an amazing Valentines day :)

Friday, the southern states were hit with a massive snow storm.. that me and my mom decided to stupidly drive through it. We ended up staying in Greenville, SC because we couldn't make it all the way to Charlotte.
When it snows, the south shuts down! No one knows what to do or how to drive and basically people think they cannot go on with daily life. Living in Boston for four years definitely helped me to learn that a little snow never hurt anyone... but it doesn't mean that it's okay to drive 300 miles... lol

my back porch

my back yard

view from our front door

simba investigating the snow

my house covered in snow!... and simba

thought this tree looked gorgeous

poor simba misses his sister coco who is quarantined at the vet right now because she bit the fed ex man! :(

bye house!... headed to charlotte... or so we thought!

our neighborhood - winter wonderland!

me and a snowman in greenville, sc

we finally got to charlotte and I got sushi with my dad! and they had lychee martinis - my favorite drink!

my wonderful parents on their way to the gala

although I didn't have a valentine, I ordered a dirty martini - extra dirty w/blue cheese stuffed olives... and then I didn't seem to care after! LOL

Has anyone else been having a hard time finding cute things in stores?

We went to dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse on Valentines and I hadn't brought anything nice to wear! I ran through Southpark Mall in Charlotte, one of the nicest malls I have ever been to.. and could not find anything! Finally I remembered the Nordstrom Juniors Department and found this dress:

only $44 and you can purchase here

I ended up putting together a cute outfit - although I would have liked it more with pumps instead of boots to make it more elegant.

with juicy couture blazer, black tights, zara boots, furla watch, and nadri bracelets

I also won this dress on eBay for $15 shipped... gotta love vintage!

I finally found this gorgeous Rebecca Taylor dress (on eBay!!) that has been in my shopbop cart since it came out. You can still get some sizes on shopbop or most sizes at revolve (where it isn't on sale but they might price match shopbop)

so excited to wear this! maybe my going away party before I leave for Mexico City

I really need to calm down with the spending!

Here are some of my favorite looks from this past week

Kristen Bell in Rebecca Taylor at the Rebecca Taylor fashion show for NYFW

Camilla Belle in Marchesa.. GORGEOUS!
The dress is absolutely to die for!

Back from Mexico City.. but not for long!

Hello all! Back from Mexico City and guess what? I got a job!! Interviewed with a Mexican fashion and accessories company and they hired me. I am so happy I cannot stop smiling. I have always wanted to work in the fashion world and working in Mexico's fashion capital is going to be freaking amazing. It is very very dangerous but you just have to be extremely careful and cautious and not call attention to yourself. Will not be moving until mid March due to my current GMAT classes and presenting the exam in March. I seriously cannot wait to start! In the meantime, I am still working at my dad's company for a while longer before I officially start packing and organizing for the move! AHH!

Mexico City was amazing.. I have not uploaded pictures yet but I will post them here when I do. The people are so friendly, the restaurants are amazing and the nightlife is so much fun! I have a couple of friends there who I met in finishing school so I know I will not be lonely. Plus my parents have millions of friends there so I know I will be in good hands!

However, here are some of my recent purchases:

bcbgeneration dress (worn to my interview with black tights, black boyfriend blazer, and black mary jane stilettos)

banana republic boyfriend blazer

another bcbgeneration dress (that line is my new obsession!)

free people t-shirt from revolve (20% off with code)

F21 wrap sweater (got more items but they aren't online)

another bcbgeneration item - sweater with chiffon sleeve - so cute!

vintage dress from ebay! I had an intense bidding battle to win it :)

I can't stop shopping! I need help! ;-)

... and this picture has me squealing like a child

That's Lea Michele and Jon Groff on the set of Glee - former Spring Awakening co-stars! AH! My inner broadway nerd comes out once in a while ;)

au revoir lovlies!
