Weekend Pictures + October Favorites Vlog!

Happy Monday everyone! Don't you just love that extra hour of sleep? I had such a relaxing weekend. On Friday, I met up with some friends for dinner and drinks - it ended up being such a fun night (maybe too much) and Saturday I just took it easy. Sunday was SUPER productive - I literally cleaned my entire room, bathroom, apt, did laundry, fixed my closet, went to starbucks, got my car washed, went to target, the container store AND the grocery store, baked, made dinner and showered and curled my hair. Haha - don't you love days like that?

Halloween Weekend iPhone pics + Recent Buys

Hi kids! Hope you all had a GREAT and fun Halloween weekend! I know I definitely did! My best friends Mon and Sonia (twins!) and Mon's fiance Ben all came down to visit me in Charlotte! We had such a great time, so lucky to have friends like this in my life!! I only have my iPhone pics to share, will share my camera pics later this week :)

We had so much fun on Friday night, I was able to get a good deal on bottle service through work so we had a lot of fun!

Saturday, there were some costume shenanigans, my costume that I ordered seriously was unbreathable from how tight it was it didn't even want to zip up so sonia was EXTREMELY nice and gave me her costume and she bought another! (im telling u - extremely amazing friends)

Overall, it was an AMAZING weekend but it went by SO FAST!

5TH ROW TAYLOR SWIFT TICKETS FOR NOV. 16TH!!!!!!!!
I am so freaking excited! And the best part is that my best friend Jimmy is coming from boston to see it with me AND it's his birthday AND it's his first T. Swift concert EVER! We are both HUGE fans.. I don't even care if we are going to be surrounded by 13 year old girls, we are going to have the best time ever.

Weekend Pictures

Friday afternoon, I drove down to Atlanta (NOTE TO SELF: never drive on friday afternoons ever again - I saw 4 horrible accidents and it took me 5 hours instead of 3) and I went to a going away party for my good friend from high school, Stacy, who is moving away to Baltimore in a week.
we had such a fun time! (not too much though, I had to drive)

got to see my friend Evan too!



Saturday, my sister Steph and I went shopping at Lenox/Phipps - I managed to get some pretty great things from the new f21 at lenox and treated my sister to a shopping spree :) annd we waited 45 min in line...



Saturday night, my cousin Adabelle met up with us and we had a great dinner at Luciano's

Sunday, I drove back early to go to the Panthers game in Charlotte with my parents... they finally won a game.. haha!



Last night, I tried a new recipe I found via Pinterest (my new obsession) - it was amazing!

Sephora Friends and Family Purchases

Hello loves! Sephora is having their annual friends and family code (you can get your personal code here) and of course... I HAD to take advantage of it. Every single year, the code gets released days after I have a shopping spree there - I literally just stocked up at Sephora (aka my latest haul) - but decided to pick up some extra goodies that I had been eying and stocking up on some necessities.

NARS "All About Cheeks Palette"
I think this is the item I am most excited about - at $65 it is a tad pricey, but with the 20% off coupon, it was worth it - I do not have any of the colors in the palette and I had been wanting to try out other blushes from them (I use deep throat blush and laguna bronzer from NARS)


Clinique "Turnaround Overnight Radiance Moisturizer"
I really love the benefit moisturizer that I have been using but I wanted something a little heavier for the night - this one has really good reviews - will review once I get it!


Oscar Blandi "Trattamento al Fango" - hair treatment recommended by my best friend Monica who has extremely gorgeous shiny hair!


Benefit Creaseless eyeshadow in R.S.V.P. - heard great things about them via Amanda Raine Beauty on YouTube - check out her videos!


Bliss Pore Perfecting Facial Polish
I absolutely LOVE my bliss daily detoxifying toner and have been yearning to try more of their skincare line (I have previously been loyal to Philosophy)


and last but not least, stocked up on my FAVORITE foundation on this planet
Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation (I am in the color sand beige) - if you are looking for a full coverage flawless foundation - this is it!

Weekend Pictures

curled my hair today.. cures the monday blues for sure! ha
Happy Monday LOVES! Hope you all had a fabulous and restful weekend. Mine was pretty good - Friday I was feeling under the weather the whole day but ended up going out with some of my coworkers to a bar called Phoenix in downtown, it was really fun! Saturday was a shopping day for me - got some great BCBGeneration clothes on sale and stocked up on some fun beauty items from Target and Sephora - I filmed a haul video that will be going up shortly!!

Saturday night, I picked up my mom from the airport and we went out to dinner and just had a chill night. Sunday, we just had lunch, went to church, then I worked out at night and watched the RHONJ reunion - can you say DRAMA!? RHONJ has been my favorite series for three years now, love the ladies - cannot believe how much Teresa has changed and how differently Bravo portrays her now - Idk about you but I am definitely team Caroline (can't believe she doesn't talk to Dina now!? how insane is that?!) anyways...

Obsessed with the sephora by OPI nail polish I picked up called "chesnuts about you" - gorgeous rose gold color


I am a salad freak- absolutely love them, great way to get your veggies and protein in one.. just be careful about the dressings! Always order olive oil & vinegar or balsamic vinagrette and NEVER creamy or Cesar dressings (soooo many calories!)

I usually always stick to my trader joes hummus but I picked this one up the other day and am IN LOVE


Another favorite of mine slash obsession: PINKBERRY! why is it a 5 min drive from my house oh and in the same shopping center as my trainer? LOL in my defense - this was my dinner that night AND it was after a cardio sesh.. (haha anything to make me feel better)


My parents were in Vegas last week and while they were eating at L'Atelier - Joel Robuchon was there! My parents were so excited (seeing as though we have restaurants too) and they got a pic! SO JEALOUS!!!

These booties are probably my favorite purchase of the season so far... they are work appropriate and SOOO comfortable
