I never posted a March favorites so I have a bunch of great hair, skincare and makeup items that I wanted to share. Weekend Recap: Chicago and weekend fun!

Happy Monday everyone! I haven't blogged in a week and you know that means a whole lotta pictures coming your way! I was in Detroit and Chicago for work last week, and I got back to Charlotte on Friday. Saturday, my company hosted an outside festival in Uptown for Cinco de Mayo and then I celebrated my friend Heather's birthday! Yesterday, we went out for Mexican food and margs and then just chilled the rest of the day. I finally filmed my April favorites video yesterday so expect that video later today!! :)

Dinner at RPM Italian was soooo yummy! Definitely recommend if you are ever in Chicago! 

Our Salsa-Thon was a HUGE success!! I was blown away by how many people came despite the not so perfect weather - so proud of our staff and it was just a FAB event!

Weekend Update: Luciano's Party, Sleep & a Mexican Festival

HOW is it Monday again? Even crazier - how is it MAY on Wednesday? Time sure flies when you're... working! Haha and having fun too :) I had a great weekend with Jimmy and my sister - we had the Luciano's party on Friday night! We had a BLAST and did not end up sleeping till almost 5 AM! Saturday was super chill with brunch and me sleeping from 4 PM - 11PM. Sunday, my sister and I woke up super early and worked at our festival until we had to stop it due to the rain. Today is the official opening day for Luciano's Charlotte! So excited! I was there during lunch and will be again during dinner! Wish us luck on our first day!! Tomorrow - I am off to a work trip to Detroit and then Chicago! I am excited because we have some great meetings lined up, and who doesn't want to have a trip in Chicago? Wanted to share my weekend pics & sorry for the overload!!

TGIF everyone! Hope you all had great weeks! Last night, my bestie Jimmy arrived in Charlotte to visit me from Boston. We met during college in Boston and have been best friends ever since! He has a crazy job and always works weekends so it is hard to plan trips to see each other. He was supposed to go to NYC to meet up with me last weekend, but all the craziness and lock down in Boston prevented that so he booked a flight to come see me :)

Apart from our media company that I work for, my dad also owns a restaurant group. We have 14 Mexican restaurants in the surrounding Atlanta suburbs (Frontera Mex-Mex Grill), a fine dining steakhouse in Alpharetta, GA (Pampas Steakhouse), and an Italian restaurant in Duluth, GA. We have been working on opening our Italian concept, Luciano's Ristorante, in Charlotte for over a year and we FINALLY open on Monday!!! I am beyond thrilled to have it here and I cannot wait eat there as much as possible. The one in GA is less than a mile from my house and we always end up picking up dinner or going in for a quick bite. I love Luciano's because it is not a typical restaurant - we have TOP NOTCH food and service and best of all - at a great price! Our Charlotte location is located on 1910 South Blvd (where La Paz used to be) - in front of Sullivan's steakhouse. We had a little private family there last night, it was divine. SO EXCITED!! :)

We have a preview dinner for friends and family tonight - cannot wait! Tomorrow, I will probably be going to brunch and hanging out with Jimmy and then Sunday we have our first Cinco de Mayo event of three (working all day)! Have a great weekend everyone!!! :)

I am officially on a shopping ban. After LA, Sephora Chic Week, Bloomies F&F Sale, Shopbop F&F sale, and NYC - I am pretty much shopped out. The fact that I am moving out in like 20 days should also prohibit me from spending any more money on fun things! Time to concentrate on buying furniture, house accessories, etc! NYC/Weekend Update!

Happy Monday everyone! I flew back to Charlotte from NYC last night and my flight was so delayed, I didn't get home till 12:30 AM! I am pretty sure hell is a lot like LaGuardia airport - I couldn't wait to get home and pass out! I had the best time in NYC, but there is nothing better than coming back to my bed, my shower and my belongings! I had been there since Tuesday, so 6 days was definitely more than enough!

got my new Tory Burch Selma Wedges just in time for my trip (bought them during the bloomingdales F&F sale) // headed to the Dry Bar as soon as I landed in NYC (such a time saver in the mornings & the blow out lasts 2-3 days!) // Times Square at Night // Work work work!

headed to Westchester to visit my friend Erin who is in med school and she made me a skinny french martini - so good! // Friday - I headed to the dry bar again (oops), had a yummy sushi lunch and shopped on 5th ave a bit - (loving my new J.Crew blazer)

Friday night - we went to Flat Iron Room - it was really fun & had live jazz music, food was not anything to write home about though!

Saturday we headed to brunch at Barbounia (so much fun, unlimited mimosas, champagne or bellinis) // Saturday night, we went out in the lower east side & I was able to see my friend Griselda! yay!
