Recent Outfits

I haven't even touched on the topic of my new years resolutions on the blog yet, but one of them is to take more outfit pictures and put more effort into my work outfits every day! 

A week before Christmas (when I was supposed to be Christmas shopping), I treated myself to a little spree at Forever 21 - it is one of my favorite places to buy "trendy" items that may not be worth the splurge. It happens about twice a year, but I found some really cute items! My favorite purchase was this pair of black knee high suede boots that I have been wearing to DEATH! They only have the tan color on the site now, but you may have luck finding the black pair in store - All Day Faux- Suede Boots. I have also been eying these over the knee ones, but think they may look too similar? I have also been loving my new purse - the 3.1 Philip Lim Pashli - it took a little getting used to, but I think I finally got the hang of it!

BEST OF 2013: Makeup!

Happy Wednesday everyone! Is it just me or is this week dragging? I feel like life has been so fast lately, so I guess that is probably a good thing? Haha! I finally had time to sit down and film a video I have been planning for a while - the Best of 2013 Makeup products! Happy 2014!

HAPPY 2014 EVERYONE! I had a super long blog post typed up and saved and it has gone missing! Well, I accidentally deleted it, so I guess it's not missing, it's just lost :( I am currently sick (again) and can't breathe through my nose and have horrible head and chest congestion - hopefully it goes away ASAP! I ALWAYS get sick when I am stressed - anyone else? I turned in three grad school applications yesterday and my final one is due tomorrow - I am so crazy excited to start hearing back from schools and interviewing! It has been an very long process, but totally worth it. I know I have been majorly MIA and I had this long inspired post ready to go about 2013, but since it's gone and I am feeling uninspired, I will just share some pictures with you from last week! 

We had a really chill NYE & had dinner at Luciano's and then went to a party.

HELLO EVERYONE! I have missed blogging so much - life has been crazy lately! I feel like always say that but unfortunately when I get busy at work and with other things, blogging tends to fall through the cracks. My grad school apps are due in DAYS and I am just ready to be done with it all. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are planning a great NYE. My best friend Jimmy is coming to visit me and gets in tomorrow - I am SO beyond ready to see him - I haven't seen him since April! We are planning a chill NYE - nothing too crazy in the works :)

I haven't blogged in a while, but like I always say - you can keep up with me through my instagram (I am addicted) 

Last weekend was my parent's 31st wedding anniversary and we had an amazing party at our house - I seriously haven't had that much fun in forever - it was beautiful and we partied till 4am! We had catering from our restaurant Luciano's, live music and mariachi - it was the BEST!

I took my GMAT last week (and did the best I have ever done!!! woo!) and then I got a sinus infection (boo), but thankfully was all better by the weekend thanks the the Z pack. My sister and I drove home to ATL for the holidays last Friday and stayed until yesterday so we had an amazing time off spending it with our family. I am so glad I took days off this year during Christmas! On the 20th, it was my baby sister's 21st B-DAY which I CANNOT BELIEVE!! She is my baby.. but not so much anymore! She had a great time on her bday - as every 21 year old should! ha! Christmas Eve is the day that we usually celebrate and we had an amazing dinner and fun time at my aunt and uncles house!

Life Lately: Last Week, Weekend + a Haul!

Happy Monday LOVES! Life has not been TOO interesting with me lately. I spend most of my free time studying and writing applications and I only have about four weeks left to finish everything so you bet your bottom dollar that I am working my butt off! I can't wait to be done with everything and actually know where I get into school and will be next fall!

Wearing this Zara sweater, a J.Crew scarf, and some Vince Camuto Booties | Friday morning, our company was a sponsor for Community Building Initiative's breakfast and it was such an inspiring event! | Saturday after studying for the whole day, we went to the ACC Championship game at BOA stadium - I invited my favorite Alexa & her husband Glenn to come with us & it was so great to hang out with them - they the sweetest!

Life Lately: Thanksgiving and more!

Happy Monday everybody and welcome to December! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! It's been a little while since I have had a life update here, so I wanted to share some pictures from my last few weeks! :) I just got back from spending Thanksgiving in Atlanta, my hometown, with my family. It was so great to see family and just spend time relaxing with them.

I feel like I am always wearing the same pieces over and over again! I love my J.Crew Pixie Pants (I have 3 pairs) and I have been living in my Blank faux leather jacket these past months. Also - my entire family told me that I looked like Aladdin on Thanksgiving - kind of true?
