Weekend Re-Cap!

Happy Monday everyone! To those who have today off - I hate you & to those that don't - Hiiiii! I had quite the weekend... why do they always have to go by so fast? Friday after work - I went to go get my nails done and then met up with my friend Kenny at PF Changs - I forgot how good this place is! They have so many things on the menu!

Went to bed around 10:30 PM since I had to be up at 5:15 AM for the 5K! The competitive adult 5K started at 7:15.

I did a pretty good job considering I am not an "outside" runner - I got a cramp towards the end so had to power walk for a bit but I was still around my goal! After the race - I headed to check out the outlets - they are about 30 min away and just wanted to go look around their HUGE forever 21! I literally tried on 25 things and walked out with..... NOTHING! nothing at all. oops. That was a waste of 2 hours.

Sunday - I went to go see Pitch Perfect - it was such a cute movie! One of the best movies I have seen all year - hands down! You should definitely go see it if you have not!

Friday Favorites!

HAPPY FRIDAY TO ALL! I hope everyone has a fun weekend planned - I am so excited to run the Susan G Komen 5 K & I get to go to the Prince Royce concert on Saturday - so freaking excited! My sister Natalie is in California for the weekend so I just have the house to myself - hoping to organize/clean and take out my fall clothes and store my summer items!

My number ONE favorite has been the return of FALL WEATHER! I have been taking full advantage of wearing sweaters, boots, scarves, etc. It is still a little warm for leather jackets but I am sure that will change soon! :)

My week so far & fall outfits!

HUMP DAY! This week has been amazing - like I said before - I am so happy to be in one city for a week and have time to cook, workout, etc! This Saturday - I am running the Susan G Komen 5K - very excited!! I haven't run a 5K in over a year so I am kind of nervous since I am a "treadmill runner" - I just HATE running outside because of bugs and I just find it so much easier to run on the treadmill - but anyways - wish me luck - I will post pictures after the weekend! Also - the weather has been great this week - It rained a little on Monday but it has been so nice & in the low 80s/high 70s - isnt that the best part about fall? As well as wearing BOOTS!

I have been loving Kale lately! I love green veggies and I made some with asparagus the other night (overcooked oops) but they were still good! 

SO obsessed with Taylor's new song - I was getting so worried that her album was going to be not "her" since I know she had a lot of different writers working with her and I personally thought that We Are Never Getting Back Together (although catchy) was not her at all! It didn't tell a story like how all of her other beautiful songs do but her title track RED is AMAZING and is proof that Taylor still can write amazing songs. Also loving the song Begin Again - I am so excited for the album to come out!

What I have been up to?

HAPPY Sunday to all my lovely blog followers! Can you believe tomorrow is OCTOBER? Where has this year gone? But like everyone else - I absolutely LOVE fall - I am so happy that NC gets a beautiful fall season! :) Yesterday marked the end of our "festival" month at work - all of our events were HUGE successes - especialy ours from yesterday that took place in Uptown Charlotte. I was in Miami most of last week for work (no work trips for another 2 weeks thank the lord) and it was so beautiful! I know I have been MIA lately but I am planning to be back on my blog roll this whole week. Just wanted to share my latest pictures from these past couple of weeks!

What's in my Purse??

Happy Wednesday everyone!! I am currently getting over a bad cold/flu? I was bedridden most of Monday and yesterday but thankfully I got antibiotics and feel much better today since I am traveling to Miami for work this afternoon!
